And remember to ditch the umbrella; you’ll blend right in with the locals that way.<\/p>\n

Magic in the Market<\/strong><\/a>
\nNovember 25, 12-5pm
\nPike Place Market
\nGet into the holiday spirit right down the street at the Magic of the Market holiday celebration. Listen to live music and caroling\u00a0choirs, warm your hands with fresh cider and hot cocoa, and stay for the tree lighting once it gets dark. You’ll officially reach peak holidays a month before Christmas.<\/p>\n

The Christmas Ship<\/strong><\/a>

\nCelebrate the holiday season on the water. Join Argosy Cruises and their ship, the Spirit of Seattle<\/em>, on a cruise around the waters of Elliott Bay. Santa is onboard for photos, there is a choir on the 2nd deck, and you can join in the fun in one of three different ways: on the lead boat, on the follow boat, or, if boats aren’t exactly your thing, at a shore party as the boat goes by.<\/p>\n

Winterfest 2017<\/strong><\/a>

\nAn ice rink, an enchanting model train village at The Armory (not an actual armory), and ice sculpting are just a few things to do\u00a0at Winterfest 2017. Put on every year by the Seattle Center, this one is great if you have kid folk in tow on your trip.
