OUR PUP POLICY
A FEW GUIDELINES FOR OUR CITY-LOVING DOGS
To ensure all our guests have the best possible stay experience, please adhere to the following guidelines:
- Guests traveling with a dog are responsible for a $40 non-refundable fee per stay.
- Dogs must be less than 50 pounds.
- Dogs must be on a leash at all times.
- Maximum of two dogs per guestroom.
- Dogs are expected to refrain from excessive barking.
- Dogs are not permitted in the Ben Paris restaurant.
- Guests traveling with a dog are responsible for any damage incurred in the room or on the property.
- The State Hotel is authorized to remove the dog from the room if it is causing a disturbance to other hotel guests.
- Guest is responsible for picking up after their dog.
- Guest is responsible for any compensation given to other hotel guests due to noise complaints resulting from unattended or barking dog(s).
- Dogs may not be left unattended in guestrooms at any time.
- Advance reservations are required for all stays including a dog.
Very Important Pup: A National Dog Month Welcome Package
This August, every pet reservation includes a State Hotel welcome kit: a collapsible bowl, bandana, one-ingredient treats, and a map to Seattle's best dog-friendly spots. All part of our standard $40 pet fee, no extra cost, just an extra reason to bring them along.
