GENERAL

Check-in is 4:00 pm, and check-out is noon.

Early check-in and late check-out are available for an additional fee and based on availability. Please make arrangements for early arrival or late check-out in advance. If we are unable to accommodate your request, your luggage can be stored for you.

No, we do not offer an airport shuttle service.

Wi Fi is included in the amenity fee. No password required.

Need parking?

We have partnered with the 2nd & Union Parking Garage that is adjacent to the Hotel and offers our guests a discounted rate of $27.50 per night. Rate includes 24 hour access and unlimited in/out privileges. Parking pass can be purchased in advance or at time of arrival. Please contact us directly for questions.

Yes, the front desk will hold them for you until you're ready.

Cribs and pack-and-plays are available with advance notice and no additional fee.

RESERVATIONS

They are 15.7% lodging tax and a 2.3% STIA (Seattle Tourism Improvement Area) tax.

Yes, guests must be 21 years of age or older to check in.

At check-in, an authorization will be placed on your credit card for the total amount of your reservation rate plus tax and an additional $100 USD per night in anticipated incidental charges. A valid credit card authorized to cover room and tax, plus $100 USD per night for incidentals, must be presented upon check-in. You may pay your final amount owed via credit card or cash upon departure. If you will not be checking in, but would like to pay for a guest's stay, please contact Reservations at 206.513.7300. Guests are not required to settle their account with the credit card used at time of check-in.

Please contact the website where your original reservation was created to make changes to your stay. These changes will then be reflected in our system.

POLICIES

The cancellation policy on our Best Flexible Rate is 48 hours. If you need to cancel within 48 hours of your arrival, the first night room and tax will be charged to the credit card on file. Special offers and promotions may have a different cancellation policy, including non-refundable options. Please refer to the cancellation notice during the booking process.

Dogs are welcome at The State Hotel, for a non-refundable fee of $40 per stay. Dog-friendly rooms are limited and subject to availability. You can learn more about our pup policy here.

The State Hotel is a non-smoking facility. Smoking is permitted 25 feet from any entrance, in accordance with state law.

Yes, the amenity fee is $25 per night.

Yes, our fitness center is open 24/7, and offers a variety of exercise equipment, including a Peloton bike, free weights, treadmills, and more.

We do not have a business center, however the front desk is happy to assist with any small printing needs.

Overnight guests can wander up to our rooftop deck, a social hangout for guests and their friends, open year-round.

For our guests' safety, the front doors automatically lock at 6:00pm until 6:00am You may use your room key to enter the front doors during that time frame. If you are checking in late, please call the front desk for assistance at 206.713.7300.

In the case of a medical emergency or fire, dial 911, then inform the Guest Services team by dialing 0 from your guestroom phone.

In an event that necessitates evacuation of The State Hotel, please proceed to the nearest exit as indicated on the door of your guestroom, and by signage in the hallway.
